JAMMU, June 26: A deputation of District Congress Committee (DCC) Urban met Raman Bhalla, Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture and raised various issues related to people.
The deputation raised issues including increase in ration quota, bifurcation of ration cards, new BPL ration card, quality of ration and its supply of ration to Government depots.
Minister gave patient hearing and assured the delegation that remedial measures regarding the aforesaid issues are already in the pipeline.
The deputation comprised of BB Gupta, Mian Nazir Ahmed, Dr Ramakant Khajuria, PS Chohan, Pt Keshav Nand, JK Koul, Pawan Sharma, Harvinder Singh Mehta, Vinay Sharma, Pt Vishwanath, Pt Jagan Nath, etc.
