DCI launches Marvin Biscuits in Kashmir

SRINAGAR, May 17: With an intention to serve a quality conscious consumer deprived of tasting real quality biscuits Dunche Clovis India, a subsidiary of Dunche Clovis Foods UK Ltd, a UK based specialty confectionery manufacturer and marketer today formally launched “Marvin Biscuits” here.
The organization launched its Brand Marvens, to compete with the likes of Britannia, Parle and Sunfeast. “Our noble mission is to enrich consumer with a choice of biscuits that fulfil the need of taste ornamented with genuine ingredients to flavour,” said Gilroy Ashleu CEO of the organisation.
“The Marvens biscuit brand has a basket of sub brands that comprise of Butter Cookies and Cashew Cookies branded as Mama Bakes that define the true taste of Butter and Cashew because of the true ingredients used to bake Mama Bakes,” said the spokesperson of the organization.
To give a choice for those who don’t prefer sweetness, Marvens has Pepetos that is a salted cracker biscuit and Hep and Hype that’s has a sweetly tangy taste. The biscuits comes in a Rs.5 – 50gm pack and Rs. 10 -100 gm packs The key USP of Marvens is its positioning ” Perfection in every bite ” and this USP is created by advanced manufacturing expertise that bring to India ” Soft Crunch Technology” to give consumers an experience of a perfect bite and taste.
“The brand is being launched using a retail launch strategy ably supported by a strong BTL plan, amplified using local radio stations,” Gilroy said.
