UDHAMPUR, June 27: A meeting of all DDC, BDC members and Sarpanches of block Chenani and Latti-Dudu was held at Dudu today to review the ongoing repair works of different roads, particularly Mantalai-Latti- Dudu road.
The meet stressed that all the public representatives of the area, irrespective of their political affiliation may join hands to work for the upliftment of this neglected area of Chenani-Latti-Dudu.
It was also stressed in the meeting that this whole stretch of the said area has enormous tourism potential which needs to be explored and developed in order to attract the tourists so that some kind of employment opportunities may be generated for the local youths and poverty stricken public of this area.
All the representatives again pledged to remain focused and committed to the services to the public and towards the ongoing works including the construction of much needed road connectivity in the entire area.
Today’s meeting concluded with the promise and pledge taken by all the participants that they shall work and serve people by rising above party politics and do selfless and dedicated services for the common good and over all development of these areas.
Earlier on June 5 and 13, similar meetings were held at Sarar and Latti. The next meeting has been scheduled at Bupp in coming days to keep up the monitoring and to take stock of these ongoing developmental works, particularly Latti -Dudu road and to work jointly for highlighting tourism potential of the area.
