DODA, June 20: DDC Chairman Doda, Dhananter Singh Kotwal along with Vice Chairperson, Sangeeta Bhagat and DDC Thathri Member, Sandeep Manhas here today visited Chandi Mata Mandir Kansoh and listened to the grievances of the public.
The people raised the issue of hardships due to shortage of water supply over which the Chairman talked to SE Jal Shakti and the issue was addressed on the spot.
The Chairman directed the authorities to ensure that basic necessities like water and electricity should be provided uninterruptedly.
Executive Engineer PMGSY, Zakir Hussain came on the spot to address the concern of public on account of sinking of road which could result in loss of lives and property.
Hussain took cognizance of the issues on the directions of the Chairman and said that the issue will be resolved to the satisfaction of public so that people live peacefully in their homes without any fear.
The Chairman also made aware the youth about centrally sponsored schemes launched by the central Government and motivated the youth to take benefit of these schemes.
After that, DDC Chairman along with Vice Chairperson and DDC Member Thathri visited the house of BDC Chairperson Jakyas.
The Chairman expressed condolences on the sad demise of BDC Jakyas, Ameena Begum and prayed to Almighty to give her family courage and strength to bear the irreparable loss.
