RAJOURI/POONCH, July 12: Chairpersons of District Development Council (DDC) Rajouri, Ch Naseem Liaqat and from Poonch Ms Tazeem Akhtar have urged the Commissioner/ Secretary School Education J&K to hold inquiry in the transfers lists of teachers issued by the CEOs of these two districts in gross violation of ATD norms issued by the Government.
In letters flashed to the Commissioner/ Secretary, the DDC Chairpersons of Rajouri and Poonch have alleged grave violations as no prescribed norms have been followed in many cases and favouritism and nepotism has been witnessed in the transfer list of teachers issued by the Chief Education Officers of Rajouri and Poonch. They demanded that the lists e cancelled and an inquiry be ordered into the matter.
Similar, allegations have been received from Udhampur district from where also serious violation of the norms have surfaced. Sarpanch Sira village in Latti tehsil, Makhan Manhas has also flashed a letter to Commissioner Secretary Education highlighting gross violation and sought cancellation of list.
