KISHTWAR, Feb 22: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara today conducted a day long extensive tour of Kishtwar town to redress the grievances of public on priority and to ensure that fruits of development reach to each and every citizen of district.
He was accompanied by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar, Dr Amir Hussain, Tehsildar Kishtwarm, Parmod Jain, Nodal officer DILRMP, Irshad Ahmed Bhatt among others.
The DDC visited tehsil office Kishtwar, helipad, under construction AYUSH hospital and revenue record scanning section at mini- secretariat, DC Office Kishtwar.
During his visit to tehsil office Kishtwar he inspected the scanning section and took firsthand information regarding the ongoing process of scanning and digitalisation of revenue records and quality check-up of scanned data. He was informed by ACR Kishtwar that as on date 6.25 lakh pages have been scanned and about 07 lakh pages are under process of scanning.
The DDC directed the Nodal Officer DILRMP to speed up the process of scanning and complete the work in time bound manner by March 31, 2020.
He also inspected various sections of the tehsil office to take first hand report of staff position and departmental works along with infrastructural need of the said office.
Later, the DDC paid a visit at the Helipad Kishtwar wherein he took review status of land demarcation under acquisition for air strip. He also discussed award list of land donors and the status of documentation work of the project.
In order to ensure the timely completion of under-construction 50 bedded AYUSH Hospital at Indra Nagar Kishtwar which is being constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 7.35 crore, he visited the construction site and took the first hand information about the bottle necks in the construction works there. During inspection he impressed upon the ACR and the Nodal officer ISM Kishtwar to submit feasibility report regarding the alternate link road to the hospital.
During the tour, the DDC directed on spot removal of the encroachment on the road from Bal Ashram to AYUSH hospital.
The tour ended with the inspection of newly established section for scanning of revenue records at mini secretariat, DC office Kishtwar.
