DDC flags off students for Exposure Tour

SAMBA, May 12: District Development Commissioner (DDC), R K Varma flagged off the students of various government schools  for Inter-State six days Exposure Tour, under Bharat Dharshan from District Complex Nandini Hills, here today.
The touring contingent comprised of 44  students of different schools of District Samba, who will visit Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh,  and Agra where they shall visit Taj Mahal, Mathura, Brindavan, Fatehpur Sikri, Red Fort, Kutub Minar, Jainter -Manter, India Gate, Rajgat,  Rose Garden, Chandigarh, Mcleod Ganj, Palmpur, Jawalaji and Chamunda Mata as well.
DDC said that the main objective of this Educational Tour is to give exposure to the students of historical and educational importance of various monuments, places of scientific, cultural heritage and religious places.
DDC also apprised the students about the importance and values of such tours and said that such type of educational tours play an important role in educating the students about our culture and heritage.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Chief Education Officer Samba, Jail Kumar Teachers and staff of various educational institutes.
