UDHAMPUR, July 19: DDC Ghordi Rakesh Chander Sharma (Bodhi) along with PRI Members called on Special Secretary to Education Department, Kanta Devi and apprised her about shortage of teaching staff in almost all the schools of district Udhampur.
Rakesh said that in absence of teachers, students in far flung schools were not getting class teaching and thus being deprived of proper education.
The officer assured to resolve the issue at the earliest by providing adequate teaching staff in all schools of the district so that students may not suffer any more.
Sarpanch Nalla Ghouran –A, Chander Kant Sharma and Sarpanch Satyalta, Yash Paul, Sarpanch Lower Barmeen, Sushma Devi, Chief Education Officer Udhampur and other officials were also present in the meeting.
