DODA, Dec 30: District Development Commissioner, Bhawani Rakwal today convened a public grievances redressal camp at Bulandpur village of Block Assar, for on spot redressal of genuine problems faced by local populace at their doorsteps.
The DDC was on a day long tour to Assar area and was accompanied by SDM Assar Navdeep Wazir, ACD Akhter Hussain, CPO Youginder Katoch besides other District and Sectoral officers.
During the camp, the DDC was apprised of various demands by locals including better road connectivity and basic amenities like water supply, electricity and ration.
Speaking on the occasion , the DDC said the opening of Khidmat Centre of J&K Bank , start of classes of higher secondary school from next session and taking up of issue with Forest Department with regard to PMGSY road in the area will be priority sectors.
While directing the concerned to expedite the resolution of issues raised in the camp, he also took into account the need for opening of Primary Health Centre for better health service and Handloom Centre for providing vocational training by catering to the demand of people.
