RAJOURI, Mar 9: Shabir Ahmed Bhat, District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, today inaugurated the new Branch premises of J&K Grameen Bank, Rajouri Main, amid thunderous applause in presence of R K Chhibber, Chairman JKGB, Des Raj, DDM Nabard, R.K. Narang, Area manager, Rajouri/Poonch Region, officials of the Bank and valuable customers.
While speaking on the occasion, Shabir Ahmed Bhat applauded the role played by J&K Grameen Bank in providing various Financial Services to the people of J&K. He also interacted with the staff members and customers of Branch. Chairman R K Chhibber also spoke on the occasion and informed that J&K Grameen Bank has 217 branches in J&K State. He added that the interest rates on Loans & Advances in JKGB are lowest amongst other Banks. The Bank is also providing online facilities to its customers like NEFT/ RTGS/ IMPS/ DBT facilities/ SMS Alerts etc. Technology application has remained the thrust area of JKGB with the objective to offer state of the art world class banking facilities to its business partners, Bank has continued to leverage information technology as a strategic tool for its business growth. The bank’s focus is on harnessing technology for integrating diverse products at very competitive rates. All the branches are on latest technology and our Rajouri Main branch is fully equipped with all types of latest technology and product, he added.
