UDHAMPUR, Mar 23: DDC Jaganoo, Parkshit Singh was allegedly assaulted by two brothers at Kallar on Dhar road, last night.
Acting swiftly, Police arrested both the accused persons and registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
The accused were identified as Rohit Manhas and Vivek Manhas, both sons of Late Jaswant Singh of Dandyal, Jaganoo. During interrogation, they revealed that due to some personal enmity resulting from an argument a few months back, both the brothers attempted to manhandle the DDC.
A prompt investigation by SHO Udhampur Raghuvir Singh led to the identification and arrest of accused. A case FIR No. 88/2025 under Section 109 BNS has been registered in this connection at Police Station Udhampur. Further investigation of the case is underway.
