KISHTWAR, Aug 28: District Development Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana convened a public grievances redressal camp at Gulabgarh, Padder for on spot redressal of public issues at their doorsteps.
DDC also inaugurated Football Goal post at sports stadium Gulabgarh Paddar.
The DDC was accompanied by Senior Superintendent of Police Kishtwar, Dr. Harmeet Singh Mehta, ADDC Kishtwar Mohammad Hanief Malik, Joint Director Planning, Mohammad Iqbal, SDM Paddar, Varunjeet Charak, DFO besides other district officers, Sarpanchs, Panchs and senior citizens.
During the camp, the DDC was apprised of various demands and problems of locals including better road connectivity, basic amenities and infrastructural facilities, water supply, electricity in left out villages, non availability of suffice medicines, construction of Panchayat ghar at Gulabgarh Paddar, compound wall for GHS, School Bus on Ligri road, posting of adequate staff in educational institutions, repair and renovation of foot bridges and irritation Khuls, sanctioning of pending KCC cases, security for KGBV girls hostel Affani, clearance of pending land compensation cases, poor functioning of Ayurvedic dispensary at Pallali etc.
The DDC issued on the spot directions to the concerned officers of different departments for speedy and prompt redressal of issues raised by the people during the camp.
DDC directed the concerned authorities to complete the work of PHC Sohal and Girls Hostel Paddar before 15th of Sept. He also asked the RDD authorities to provide copy of 14 FC guidelines to all PRI members.
The DDC asked the officers to prioritize the works identified under Back to Village Programme.
PDD authorities assured that Kabban power supply scheme will be completed within next 10 days.
CMO Kishtwar was directed to provide essential medicines and life saving drugs in all health institutions of Padder.
DDC enjoined upon the Sarpanchs and Panchs to keep a check on attendance of employees in the Government offices which is pre-requisite for prompt service delivery. He directed all the officers of key sectors to conduct regular awareness camps and educate the farmers/general public about the schemes of their departments and technical knowhow.
