POONCH, Feb 9: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) general secretary and DDC Member from Surankote-A constituency, Shahnwaaz Choudhary handed over an Ambulance to PHC Hari Marhote, here today.
He handed over the Ambulance in the presence of BMO Surankote, Sarpanches and other dignitaries of the area.
The Ambulance was provided by DDC member Shahnwaaz Choudhary to PHC Hari Marhote from the Capex budget on his disposal as DDC Member. This was a long pending demand of the public as people were suffering a lot due to non availability of an Ambulance.
Speaking on this occasion, Shahnawaz Choudhary said that this is the strength of the public’s mandate which ensured public welfare work which was missing earlier. He hoped that the local public would benefitted by availing ambulance service during emergencies.
BMO Surankote during his address thanked DDC Member Shahnawaz Choudhary for his efforts to prioritize the health sector.
Other who were present on this occasion include Dr Yousaf and Sarpanches including Haji Akram, Waheed Shah, Javed Ahmed, Sikander Noorani, Ch Javed as well as senior citizens of the area including Arif Shah, Ch Mumtaz Hussain, Ch Haqnawaz, Madasar Ahmed (PYC GS), Ajaz Chouhan (Vice President DYC Poonch).
