DDC Member kick starts work of Dhundhak road

POONCH, July 7: Senior Congress leader and DDC Member from Surankote, Shahnawaz Choudhary today kick-started the work of link road from Sanai Phamra Morh to Dhundhak in Surankote Tehsil of district Poonch in presence of R&B officials,  Sarpanchs and senior citizens of the area.
People of the area extended gratitude to Shahnawaz for fulfilling their long pending demand and said that there was not even a single road in the village Dhundh for the last 60 years and people were suffering. Shahnawaz being local youth, after becoming DDC Member, cared about people of his area and prepared the project and got approval for construction of this road, they added.
Speaking on the occasion, Shahnawaz Choudhary said that road connectivity brings development to rural areas and also become source of livelihood for rural public. People of this area were suffering and as public representative it was my duty to do something for locals of this area.
He further said that road connectivity is top priority and from the very first day he tried every possible effort after assuming office of DDC Member and succeeded in achieving milestone to get approval of 8 roads in this rural and far- flung area.  He assured every possible assistance to the people of this area.
Others who were present on this occasion were Sarpanch Dhundh, Mehmood, Sarpanch Sanai Waheed Shah, senior leader Haji Arif Shah, Advocate Sheraz Bajar, youth leaders Sikander Hayat, Ajaz Chouhan, Ghulam Nabi Jatt and others.
