RAJOURI, Aug 19: DDC Member Shazia Kouser inaugurated road from Jamola to Najeri sanctioned under NABARD in presence of several public representatives.
Constructed with the cost of Rs 5.75 crores, this road was the long pending demand of people. The public suffered a lot in the absence of this road. At the inaugural occasion, she was accompanied by BDC chairman Javid Iqbal, Sarpanchs, several other PRI members and large number of local people.
Shazia along with her husband, Javid Iqbal Choudhary, BDC inaugurated projects worth crores in their areas so far. The people had waited for decades for such works and their several demands were addressed with this.
It’s pertinent to mention here that after becoming DDC Shazia is regularly visiting far flung areas of her constituency to know about public sufferings. She was a government teacher and resigned from the post to serve people in big way. Both Shazia and Javid Iqbal have been working hard and visiting far flung areas of their pocket ensuring better development.
