POONCH, June 14: District Development Commissioner, Poonch, Inder Jeet today reviewed the Physical and financial achievements of projects under SCA to TSP 2022-23 in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Abdul Sattar, Assistant Commissioner Development, Abid Hussain Shah, CMO, Dr. Shamim Bhatti, CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, District Social Welfare Officer, Mohinder Paul, CAO, Rakesh Sharma, CHO, Vinod Kumar, Xen PDD, Irshad Hussain, Xen PHE, Rajesh Sethi, Xen PWD( R& B), Harvinder Singh, TSWO, Mohd. Azam Rather, BDOs besides all concerned officers were present.
While reviewing the progress, the DDC took a comprehensive stock of progress of projects undertaken by different departments and set deadlines for all the departments to accelerate the pace of progress on ongoing projects so that the targets are achieved.
It was informed in the meeting that total amount under Tribal Model Village is Rs. 2919.55 lakh out of which an expenditure of Rs. 1330.34 lakh has been incurred till 31 March, 2022.
The District Development Commissioner also asked the concerned officers to provide basic facilities to the tribal population including, adequate supply of drinking water, augmentation of transformer, provide electric poles and wire where needed, where as establishment of sheep units, Dairy unit, providing agricultural toolkits, construction of stadium, modern classrooms etc. were also stressed upon.
The schemes of departments which were thoroughly reviewed were PWD Rural Development,Sheep husbandry, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Forest, Rural Development, Minor Irrigation, Power, Education, Youth Sports, PHE, Urban Development etc.
DDC asked the concerns to complete the model villages works across the district at an earliest. He also sought factual position on all ongoing works.
The Deputy Commissioner strictly instructed the concerned officers to timely utilize the funds.
