DDC Reasi convenes public outreach camps

REASI, SEPTEMBER 01: In an endeavour to reach out to the public and to listen to their grievances at their doorsteps, District Development Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh today convened a grievances redress camp here at Kambal Danga district Reasi.
ADDC Jyoti Salathia, PO ICDS Renu Kumari, CMO Rajeev Kumar, CAO Sudhir Singh, CHO Brij Vallabh, Tehsildar Reasi Munshi Ram, Bdo Reasi Sanjeev Sharma Executive Engineers of the PWD, PDD, Jal Shakti, JKPDC, PMGSY, PRIs besides other concerned officers were present in the public hearing programmes.
The outreach programme witnessed huge participation of people from all walks of life. The people sought immediate augmentation of power supply and water supply, improvement of roads, school up-gradation, medicare facilities etc.
Specific issues projected during the grievance redressal camp included early construction of Simbal Choa to Dera Baba Banda and Dasano to Panassa roads, revision of mining rates, early completion of Angi Nallha of Panchyat Suketar, issuance of Ayushman cards , BDO office building, houses under PMAY etc.
Responding to the demands, the DDC said that every possible effort is being made to reach out to the general public and redress their grievances at their doorsteps. He said the District Administration is committed to hundred per cent transparency and accountability in its functioning.”
Concerning the Forest Rights Act, the DDC said that the Act would be implemented in letter and spirit in the district and all rights and genuine concerns of the forest dwellers would be properly taken care of.
