REASI, Mar 3: District Administration Reasi, led by District Development Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib, today listened to public issues at Arnas during the weekly Block Diwas programme.
The local people of all surrounding Panchayats of Arnas participated in the programme and highlighted their problems and developmental issues.
BDC Chairperson, Neena Devi; SDM Arnas Fazal-ul- Haseeb; AD FC&Sc Mohd. Sayed; AD Fisheries Sanjesh Gupta; PO ICDS Renu Kumari; Distt Social Welfare Officer, Gulshan, Tehsildar (Hqr) Reasi Moksha Dogra; Chief Agriculture Officer, Ravinder Thaploo; CEO, Mushtaq Ahmed; ALC Reasi, Prabjot Gupta X-Ens, BDO, Tehsildar Arnas, AEE and District and block level officers and PRIs were present at the daylong programme.
Scores of issues related to the provision of Water, Power, Road, Transport, Ration, ICDS, Nutrition, education, health were resolved on the spot with the intervention of concerned officers. For several other issues Indu Chib fixed timeline for their resolution.
Meanwhile, several grievances were forwarded to the concerned departments for prompt resolution through an established tracking system. In the programme, a review was also taken by the DC on all the previous issues projected by the local people.
Similar, Block Diwas public hearing were also held at Reasi, Katra where locals put forth their problems in front of the sectoral officers.
