AKHNOOR, June 27: District Development Councillor (DDC), Pt. Suresh Sharma here today inaugurated the work of road blacktopping in Panchayat Dhanna Jalada of Block Chowki Chaura which was a long pending demand of the people.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that there shall be good roads and streets in every locality as the tender process of many more roads has been completed and the work will start soon.
He also said that under PMGSY and NABARD, big projects of roads will be made in Block Maira Mandrian and Chowki Chaura and DPRs of some of these roads have been prepared and many are being prepared so that there will be convenience to the people and many villages get connected with each other.
The DDC said that as the Central Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has completed eight years, many welfare schemes are being run all over India, whose benefits are being given to every section of the society.
BDC Chowki Chaura, Rahul Dev Sharma; former Sarpanch, Radhe Shyam; Panch, Mahendra Pal Sharma; Sarpanch Dori, Surendra Pal; Panch, Sham Lal; Naib Sarpanch, Subhash Chander; former Sarpanch, Ramesh Lal, Anil Kumar, Vishnu Das, Sachin Sharma, Ajay Kumar and others were also present on the occasion.
