RAJOURI, Oct 17: DDC Thannamandi, Abdul Qayoom Mir started the construction work of Shahdara Hill road, sanctioned under NABARD with the estimated cost of Rs 3.8 crore, here today.
While addressing the gathering, he said that this road will fulfil the long pending demand of our poor and neglected people of the area. The locals thanked the BJP Government and appreciated efforts of DDC Member Thannamandi for getting this road sanctioned.
He was accompanied by BDC Thannamandi, Rozy Zafar. “After becoming DDC, Abdul Qayoom Mir started a new era of development in the area,” said BDC Member, adding that he was regularly visiting far flung areas of Thannamandi to know about the suffering of people.
