RAMBAN, Oct 1: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Showkat Aijaz Bhat has suspended two Junior Engineers (JEs) of PMGSY and also ordered enquiry against them.
As per official spokesman, acting on the complaint of general public of Karol-Kumet areas and on videographic and photographic evidences provided to the DDC Showkat Aijaz Bhat, as an immediate action, DDC ordered suspension of two PMGSY JEs and attached in the office of Xen PMGSY Ramban.
Pertinent to mention here that the general public made a compliant to DDC Ramban and informed against the PMGSY Department for using the substandard material for macadamisation of Karol-Kumet road.
On the directions of DDC, ADC Ramban Dr Basharat Hussain inspected the site and submitted videographic and photographic evidences of the work done by the department on kilometer number 10 (RD-500 to 1000) and (9500 to 10000).
ADC Ramban will conduct an enquiry in this matter and submit the report within 15 days for further action against the defaulters.
DDC also sought an explanation form AEE PMGSY Ramban in this regard. DDC warned the employees that the dereliction of duties will not be spared.
