SAMBA, Mar 28: Deputy Commissioner Samba, Sheetal Nanda today conducted an extensive tour of the pilgrimage and tourist areas of the district which include Utterbehni, Purmandal, Mansar, Surinsar to monitor the progress of ongoing development works undertaken by the Surinsar-Mansar Development Authority(SMDA).
CEO Surinsar-Mansar Development Authority Vikas Gupta and Executive Engineer SMDA accompanied the DDC.
The DDC reviewed the status of the development works regarding various parks, Sarai buildings and other upcoming infrastructures and instructed the concerned executive agencies to expedite the ongoing works so as to provide upgraded facilities to the visitors.
Various other issues regarding outsourcing of assets, initiation of new works for the beautification of lakes and others were also discussed and instructions were issued to the concerned for proper need based development of these places to attract maximum tourists.
