DDDM holds rally, submits memorandum

JAMMU, May 6: A public rally was held which was organised by Displaced District Durga Mandal (DDDM), at Dogra Nagar.
The residents of the area including Displaced District Durga Mandal submitted memorandum to Surinder Ambardar, MLC, regarding the problems of Dogra Nagar and demanded for immediate redressal of their grievances.
The memorandum of demands presented was regarding the upgrading of drainage/sewerage and black topping of main road connecting the area including lanes and bi-lanes system in their area. The memorandum mentioned about insufficient water supply in their area and regular cleaning by JMC in lanes of 7, 8,9, 10 and 14.
They were also demanding public park in their area.
Others present on the occasion were Sheela Handoo, former Corporator and Mandal BJP office bearers of Durga Nagar including large number of locals.
