JAMMU, Dec 2: A deputation of All Jammu and Kashmir Diploma Engineers Association (DEA) called on Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology and Environmental and Tribal Affaris, Javed Rana here today.
The deputation was led under the presidentship of Upinder Singh.
The members of association, appraised the Minister about the issues of Diploma Cadre including, promotions from the post of JE to Assistant Engineer, Assistant Engineer to Assistant Executive Engineer and Assistant Executive Engineer to Executive Engineer as per the 20% quota earmarked for Diploma Engineers, issuance of tentative seniority list after 2019 and regularisation of Diploma Engineer.
The Minister gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured them that their demands will be fulfilled at the earliest.
Among others who were part of the deputation included, Anil Khajuria, Pankaj Goswami and Sanjeev Mahajan.
