DEA takes up issues with MP

JAMMU, Oct 20: All J&K Diploma Engineers Association delegation led by its president Upinder Singh met Member of Parliament (MP) Madan Lal Sharma and apprised him about the issues pertaining to Diploma Engineers cadre.
The delegation submitted charter of demands, which included restoration of entry level grade from 5000-8000 to 6700-10700, promotion to every Diploma Engineer after 15 years of service, maintenance of cadre strength (JE to AE, AE to AEE and AEE to X-En) at every level, enhancement of fixed travelling allowance from Rs 30 per month to Rs 5,000 per month and restoration of JE Grade-1.
MP assured the deputation that the issue will be raised at the appropriate level to bring the demands to logical conclusion.
Among others present were SC Goswami, Chairman, Vijay Sharma, general secretary, Rakesh Goswami, joint secretary, Arunesh Sharma, publicity secretary, Rajesh Sharma, Sayeed Tariq, Vimal Gupta, Pawan Sharma and KC Raina, executive members, Anil Gupta, vice chairman, Dheeraj Khajuria, Arshad Parvez, Pradeep Fotedar and Pankaj Goswami.
