SAMBA, Apr 10: The body of a truck driver was found inside the truck under suspicious circumstances near Nanke Chak of Samba on Jammu Pathankot National Highway here on Wednesday morning.
According to the information received, the truck was going from Samba towards Jammu. Additional SP Samba, Surinder Chaudhary, DSP Headquarters, Bhisham Dubey and many other officers reached the spot, took the body in their custody and sent it to District Hospital Samba for post-mortem. The deceased driver has been identified as 50-year-old Sanjay Kumar, resident of Chandrakot Ramban, who currently lived in Malik Market, Jammu.
After the post-mortem of the dead body done by the doctor at District Hospital Samba, it was handed over to the family members for last rites. In this context, Samba police have registered a case and started further investigation.
