JAMMU, July 31: The dead body of a mentally unstable man was found hanging late last night at his residence, here in Krishna Nagar.
“The body of the man, who was identified as Jagdev Singh (34) son of Rajinder Singh, was found hanging with ceiling fan with the help of a bed sheet”, a police official said.
He said that on getting information from family members, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and today after postmortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
