SRINAGAR, Aug 16: A dead body of a woman was found today by locals in the waters of Nallah Sindh in Ganderbal district.

According to officials, the deceased woman’s body was sighted by locals near the Pathribal region, close to the Rayal Gund area in central Kashmir.
Swiftly reacting to the discovery, the residents promptly alerted the local authorities, leading to their prompt response.
The residents informed the police about the distressing find and subsequently handed over the recovered body to the police officials.
Authorities said that they have taken possession of the body for further investigation and procedural legal formalities.
A police official stated that the body has been transferred to a nearby hospital for detailed medico-legal procedures and thorough identification.
