KATHUA, Nov 24: A dead body of a youth was recovered in village Tridwan in Lakhanpur area of Kathua district today hanging with a tree.
He has been identified as Manohar Singh son of Baldev of village Mangli. He had gone to Tridwan along with his family members to participate in the religious performance at his in-laws house.
According to police Manohar had left his in-laws house yesterday and his body was seen hanging with a tree this morning. Soon after coming to know about the incident, Lakhanpur Police swung into action and shifted the dead body to Kathua District Hospital.
The body will be handed over to family after postmortem tomorrow. The Lakhanpur Police has registered a case under Section 174 and started investigation.
