JAMMU, Jan 5: The body of a new-born premature girl was recovered today from a vegetable garden in Army Cantonment area falling under the limits of police station Gandhi Nagar.
“The body was spotted by family members of an Army Jawan to whom the garden belongs”, a police official said. He said it was a premature baby of about 5-6 months.
The official said that the body of the fetus has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for medical/legal formalities while Gandhi Nagar police had taken cognizance of the matter.
