Reports said that acting on a specific information, a police party under the supervision of SDPO Mendhar, Surinder Choudhary conducted  raid at around 9 pm last night at Ari in Gursai  and nabbed the kerosene oil dealer and river of the truck No. JK02AN/5113 and registered a case FIR No. 202/ 2014 against them. About 300 liters kerosene oil being pilferaged from the depot was also seized. Incharge SHO Tariq Ahmed from Gursai conducted swift operation.

It is pertinent to mention here that due to massive black-marketing of the kerosene oil in the area, the general public is suffering a lot due to shortage. Most of the dealers in connivance with the CAPD officials indulge in black-marketing and sell the stuff in black which is ultimately used in trucks, local tippers and even the matadors.
There is no check on this practice by the concerned TSO or other supervisory staff.
