Dealer, tanker driver held for selling CAPD K oil

MENDHAR, Jan 29: A kerosene oil dealer of CAPD and a tanker driver were arrested by police for indulging in black-marketing and pilferage of kerosene oil meant for local public of Mandhar area of district Poonch.
Reports said that acting on a specific information, a police party lead by SHO Mendhar, Thair Yousuf under the supervision of SDPO Mendhar, Neeraj Padyar conducted raid at around 11 am at Kotan village in Mendhar tehsil today and nabbed the kerosene oil dealer and driver of the tanker No. JK14 A/9215 and registered a case FIR No. 12/ 2020 U/S 3/7 AC Act against them. They had off loaded three barrels of kerosene oil at a private shop, pilferaged from the depot quota.
Dealer Abdul Quyoom, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Kota village and truck driver Nitu, son of Vijay Kumar, resident of Village Mundriyan in Jammu were arrested. Containers full of kerosene were also seized. The driver had already filled fuel tank of the truck with kerosene oil. He revealed to police that he had off loaded the kerosene oil on the directors of TSO Mendhar, Abdul Khaliq. Further investigation was in progress.
