JAMMU, Nov 22: Akhand Path of Shri Guru Granth Sahib, Shabad Kirtan and Ardas was organised here at the Samadhi of late General Bikram Singh, to observe his death anniversary.
In 1963, General Bikram Singh and other senior officers of Army and Airforce lost their life in a tragic air crash in Poonch sector.
President, J&K Akali Dal, S Gajan Singh, president, General Bikram Singh Yadgar committee, Harvinder Singh, besides heads and members of various Sikh organizations of the State, paid floral tributes to Late General Bikram Singh at Bikram Chowk.
While throwing light on the sacrifices made by the General, entire congregation made it a point to learn lesson from the sacrifice of the General.
Everybody remembered the departed soul with due respect, who served as GOC Northern Command and no enemy nation could dare to touch the border during his regime.
