BANIHAL, Dec 10: National Conference (NC) district Ramban president, Sajjad Shaheen has claimed that NC alone represents the social, political and economic aspirations and multifarious problems of the people of J&K.
Welcoming new entrants into the party fold, Shaheen called upon them to become agents of change and said that J&K is going through very difficult times where on one hand, people here are being pushed against the wall and on the other hand, a conspiracy is being hatched to vitiate communal harmony.
He said that a decisive battle is needed to be fought against the divisive forces.
The NC leader also claimed that Party’s objective has never been power but development.
He exhorted the people to strengthen NC at grass root level and maintain peace and harmony.
Mohd Akram Bhat, Gulam Mohiuddin Shan, Zulfiqar Ahmed Naik, Peer Murtaz Shah and Abdul Hamid Khan were also present on the occasion.
