Decks cleared for pre-fabricated buildings for CUK

Srinagar, May 31: The Finance Committee of the Central University of Kashmir (CUK) today cleared the decks for construction of pre-engineered buildings at the designated campus site of the varsity at Ganderbal.
The 10th meeting of the Committee was chaired by the officiating Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj-ud-Din Mir.
The meeting was also attended by Pratap Singh, Director Finance, MHRD, B B Vyas, Principal Secretary, J&K Government, Dr. Ram Vishwakarma, Director Indian Institute of Integrated Medicines, Mohammad Shafi Pandit, former Chairman, JKPSC, Dr. Irshad Ahmad Jan, Finance Officer CUK, Muhammad Amin Nowsheri, former Chief Engineer R&B, Munir Ahmad Khan, Ex Chief Architect, Dikshu Kukreja representative of M/s C. P Kukreja, Architect of the University and Prof M Afzal Zargar, Registrar CUK.
The work on the pre-engineered buildings will be done simultaneously to the construction of boundary walls and the first phase of the permanent structures.
