Declare list of persons missing at Kedarnath: Ramesh

JAMMU, July 14: Ramesh Arora, president, Arorabans Sabha, has expressed anguish and concern over the attitude of State Government for not declaring the list of persons missing or dead during Char Dham Yatra at Kedar Nath or adjourning areas in natural disaster.
Addressing the press conference, Adv Ramesh Arora, president, Arorabans Sabha, told media persons, “we have lost many precious lives in the natural disaster, we all pay homage to all departed souls and God may give courage to families of the deceased”. He added that the State Government has not declared the list of missing persons till date and no compensation was paid to the families who lost their near and dears.
He even asked State and Central Governments also to declare missing persons as dead instead of waiting for seven years. If Uttarakhand Government can adopted this policy why J&K Government cannot do so, he demanded.
On the occasion, the president, Arorabans Sabha said that Arora Biradhari is organizing mail on July 21, 2013, when the resolution will be passed for the betterment of Sabha. A large number of members are expected to participate including office bearers from North Zone and Sadhus will also shower their blessings.
Vijay Grover said Arora Biradhari is having 843 castes and they are looking forward to resolve some reformative steps on the occasion of congregation.
