UDHAMPUR, Jan 29: A male Sambar deer was found dead on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway near Sangoor Chowk Udhampur, early this morning.
The deer was apparently hit by an unidentified vehicle passing on the National Highway that caused its death. The carcass was found on the road with blood oozing out of its mouth.
On being informed, team of Wildlife Department reached the spot and safely disposed of the carcass after the postmortem.
