JAMMU, Mar 22: Activists of Mission Statehood JK (MSJK) here today led a protest rally against Property Tax and appealed LG Manoj Sinha to defer the Property Tax notification of April 1 for some time.
MSJK leader, Sunil Dimple led the protest rally and burnt the effigies of Property Tax and J&K annual budget.
Dimple said that not even a meager amount shall be paid in the form of Property Tax and claimed that Lok Sabha has passed directionless and anti-poor annual budget of J&K.
He said that there is nothing in the budget for the regularization of daily wagers and recruitment of unemployed youths.
Jagdish Raj Gupta, Raj Khajuria, Raman Kumar, Sita Ram and others were also present in the protest.
