Delegation from Billawar, Udhampur meets DSS chief

JAMMU, June 30: A delegation of prominent Dogras representing different parts of Udhampur and Billawar met the president Dogra Saddar Sabha,  Gulchain Singh Charak and apprised him of the problems being faced by the people of this belt.
The delegation comprising of  Uttam Salgotra  from Nakki in Udhampur,  Rajinder Kumar  from Mansar  in Udhampur,  Darshan Kumar from Sundla Udhampur,  Subash Chander,  Jib Thati  Udhampur,  Ashok Kumar, Sialna Kulwal, Billawar  in  Kathua, Dev Dutt  Khajuria Khoon Majalta district Udhampur and  others under the leadership of  Ajay Gupta,  organising secretary of the Sabha met Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and Sabha chief and discussed numerous problems being faced the people living in far flung areas of district Udhampur and  Kathua and requested him that the Central leadership of the Sabha should visit their areas and allow them to start the membership drive of the Sabha there also so that the proper Shakha Sabhas can be organized.
They also extended their full cooperation to the struggle started by the Central Sabha for conservation and preservation of Dogra heritage, culture, to do away with the wasteful exercise of  Darbar move and separate Secretariat at Jammu.
They also pledged to work dedicatedly as members of the Dogra Sadar Sabha for the upliftment of the poor and down trodden people of these areas.
Gulchain Singh Charak, speaking to the deputationists assured them full support of the Central Sabha for ameliorating the problems of the people living in such difficult areas and asked them to enroll maximum members of Dogra Sadar Sabha and constitute its units as per the constitution of the Sabha in both the districts.
