JAMMU, July 28: Lieutenant Governor, Girish Chandra Murmu met a delegation from Sunderbani, Rajouri led by Block Development Council Chairman, Arun Kumar Sharma at Raj Bhavan here today.
The delegation submitted a host of issues including the establishment of blood bank at SDH Sunderbani, operationalisation of Grid Station Siot, installation of a filtration plant at Thangriote, expediting the construction work of Degree College Thandapani, and augmentation of ongoing road projects among others.
President Municipal Committee Sunderbani, Rajinder Kumar Sharma also submitted a detailed list of demands for consideration including a new office complex for MC Sunderbani, improved electricity supply, shifting of existing Veterinary Centre and Breeding Centre outside town limits, allotment of increased funds and land transfer issues among others.
Vice President MC Sunderbani, Sarpanch of block Sunderbani including Mohan Singh, Satpaul, Roshan Lal, Yesh Paul and Naib Sarpanch Bheem Sain were also part of the delegation.
The Lt Governor interacted with the members of the delegation and assured them to review the genuine issues and demands projected by them for their early redressal.
