JAMMU, Feb 23: Mohammad Iqbal Ahangar, Chairman, OBC Welfare Association J&K UT called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, today.
He apprised the Lieutenant Governor of various development issues of Dooru and Verinag including establishment of Maternity and Child Care Hospital Dooru and upgradation of PHC Verinag.
A delegation of shopkeepers of multi-tier parking General Bus Stand Jammu led by its President Vishal Mahajan also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
Nazir Ahmed Khan, Chairman, District Development Council Budgam also called on Lieutenant Governor.
He submitted a memorandum of demands to the Lieutenant Governor pertaining to various issues of public importance including extension of Power Amnesty scheme, uninterrupted power supply during the holy month of Ramzan, upgradation of Hospital building at Soibug Budgam, establishment of Mini Secretariat in Budgam, etc.
The Lieutenant Governor assured Nazir Ahmed that appropriate action will be taken to address the genuine issues projected by him.
