JAMMU, Oct 2: A delegation of Jammu West Assembly Movement met Divisional Commissioner, Jammu Sanjeev Varma here, today and submitted a chatter of demands for forwarding it to the State Governor for its early redressal.
The delegation was led by Sunil Dimple, president, Jammu West Assembly Movement and it expressed serious concern over the worst condition of the historic and prestigious heritage monument of Jammu region the symbol of the Dugar Culture the “ Mubark Mandi”.
During the meeting, Dimple apprised the Divisional Commissioner, that the people of State and particularly of Jammu region are in great anger for the “non declaration of the Maharaja Hari Singh birth day as State holiday” on September 23.
The issue of Gondola Rope way from Mubark Mandi to Baghe Bahu Project was raised, and it was demanded that the pace of work on Jammu Smart city project be intensified, worst traffic problems of Jammu city, flyovers, artificial lake, Chenab water supply scheme, beautification and development Jammu were highlighted.
Divisional Commissioner, Jammu assured Dimple that all the demands put by him will be taken up in priority bases and will be placed before Governor for the early redressed.
