JAMMU, Apr 5: A deputation of Parlidhar block led by Sagar Verma BJP OBC Morcha Distt. president met District Development Commissioner Saloni Rai and putforth the burning issues of that area for redressal.
He demanded conservation, upgradation and beautification of Gurseri Lake in Dhanwalt Panchayat which is in 25 kanals shrinking day by day under Tourism Deptt, also construction of approach road from bus stand Dhanwalt to the lake site, transfer of state land in khasra no. 332 in Blhand Panchayat for construction of mini sports stadium for the youth of Parlidhar. The land has been identified by the commission under Naib Tehsildar Ramnagar at Khanki mitti on the roadside of Dhanu- Rang road.
Verma also brought to the notice of the DDC the successful geo-tagging of PMGSY roads in this remote block in consultations with the local public which will provide connectivity to leftover hamlets in Ramnagar to Dhar road Majalta via Chountra Mata and Ramnagar to Sewna- Jansal- Bharnada which was long pending demand of Majalta, Parlidhar and Ramnagar.
