Delegation of BOSE employees meets Chairman

JAMMU, Feb 9: A delegation of Employees Association J&K State Board of School Education, Jammu Division, today met Chairman, JKBOSE, Dr Zahoor Ahmed Chatt and discussed various pending issues related to employees.
The delegation discussed in detail each and every problem and demand of the employees including distribution of question papers to concerned Superintendents through police stations for ensuing Annual (Regular) Examination, on the analogy of Kashmir Division; constitution of Board Members’ Committee, whose period already stands expired, conduct of non-gazetted DPC and relaxation in service period for the posts of Head Assistant, Section Officer and Assistant Secretary from 8 to 5 years, 5 to 3 years and 7 to 4 years, respectively.
The delegation also stressed for getting the Court stay vacated in favour of Assistant Deputy Secretary for further promotions of eligible employees in the same cadre.
Other demands taken up with the Chairman include regularization of all eligible consolidated workers, who have completed their seven years service satisfactorily, construction of family quarters at Srinagar for Darbar Move employees of Jammu Division, and acquisition of land and construction of buildings for Sub/Branch offices of BOSE, Jammu Division.
The Chairman gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured that all their genuine demands would be conceded within shortest possible time.
