JAMMU, Jan 2: A delegation of J&K Industries Pensioners Association, led by chairman Gh Nabi Bhat and president, Sampat Prakash today met with Managing Director of JKI, Sanjay Handoo, Financial Advisor/CAO Vivek Attri and Ali Mohd Bhat, General Manager at their office at Udyog Bhavan and discussed various issues being faced by them, here today.
They put forth various issues including leave salary and pay arrears of the pensioners before the officials of the JKI. The officials gave patient hearing to their demands and asked the delegation that the leave salary of the 65 percents pensioners have been released till date, while the issue of pay arrears as well as 6th and 7th pay commission instalment of 3000 pensioners of JKI will be finalized and submitted to the Administrative Department Principal Secretary Industries and Commerce for the final consideration.
They appreciated the MD, JKI and his team for considering their legitimate demands.
Vice president Sheikh Riyaz, and Ashok Gupta were also part of the delegation.
