LEH, Apr 25: A delegation of LBA women wing today called on Lieutenant Governor R K Mathur at Raj Niwas, here.
The delegation submitted a memorandum to Lieutenant Governor regarding early evacuation of the all stranded pilgrims, patients, students and elderly people of Union Territory of Ladakh, stuck in different parts of the country due to the nationwide lockdown since March 24.
The delegation comprising of LBA women wing president, Rinchen Angmo and general secretary, Tsering Dolker. They also applauded the joined efforts made by UT administration, Hill Council, Health Department and frontline health workers for combating the COVID-19 pandemic successfully in Ladakh and assured their full support.
