JAMMU, Aug 8: A delegation of Sharda Colony Welfare Committee Sector II Patoli Brahmana called on former Chief Minister and patron PDP Mufti Mohammed Sayeed here today and apprised him of the plight of displaced Pandits from Valley.
The delegation was led by Nanaji Raina president of the Welfare Committee and ex Sarpanch Kokernag.
The delegation complimented Mr Sayeed for giving mandate of Abdul Rahim Rather as party candidate from Kokernag constituency.
It appealed the PDP patron to ensure his party’s support in passage of Shrines and Temples Bill and urged him to take up the other genuine issues of migrants like enhancement of cash relief, implementation of PM’s employment package in letter and spirit and relieving the migrant voters from filling up of M Forms with the Government.
