JAMMU, Aug 19: The delegation of various organizations called on Union Human Resource Development Minister Smriti Irani here, today and apprised her of their grievances.
A delegation of Sanskrit scholars headed by Mahant Rohit Shastri president of Kailakh Jyotish Avim Vedic Sansthan Trust and other Scholars meet Smriti Irani and put forwards various issues and problem associated with Sanskrit language in Jammu and Kashmir and demanded  due share of Sanskrit Scholars in employment opportunity.
The delegation informed her that despite renowned scholars of State and large numbers of Sanskrit students, from few years’ Sanskrit language is losing its roots in State due to official apathy of State Government. Professionally now Sanskrit language is becoming dead language as Sanskrit scholars don’t get employment in State due to official apathy. Even they are not invited for interviews for post of teachers.
The delegation demanded that the Sanskrit scholars be given separate scholarship and reservation quotas in University lectureship and teaching assistantship.
The delegation was accompanied by Rohit Shastri, Dr CM Raina, Pt Mool Raj Shastri, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Pt. Bhushan Shastri, Pt. Shiv Parsad Raina, BhanuPartap Sharma, Sunil Sharma and othersScholars.
Another  delegation of Agriculture technocrats under the banner of JKATA led by Yudhvir Sethi BJP (Jammu- Poonch Prabhari)& Priya Sethi BJP (Mahila Morcha State president) along with Dr Surinder Radotra president of Association called on Union HRD Minister . The delegation demanded that all agricultural technocrats be regularized and appointed as Village Agriculture Extension Assistants.
It is important to mention that the regularisation list of first phase for Kashmir division has already been published two months ago while the Jammu has been ignored.
Smriti Irani assured full support to the delegation their cause and assured to raise the issues with  Radhey Sham Union Minister for Agriculture regarding discrimination done by State Government to REZs. She assured personnel intervention of  Union  Minister for Agriculture  in the matter so as to save and secure future of REZ and their families as most of them have crossed age limits for a Government Job.
