Delhi mandate to change political discourse in India: Rana

JAMMU, Feb 10: Describing the magnificent victory of Aam Aadmi Party as watershed moment in Indian politics, Provincial President National Conference Devender Singh Rana today said that defining mandate will change the entire political discourse in heterogeneous country like India.
“The historic vote is a wake up call for those pursuing myopic politics”, Mr Rana said in a statement and hoped that those ruling the nation from Delhi will read the writing on wall and desist from trampling the very idea of India.
Mr Rana said history is replete of instances from times immemorial that whosoever attempted to change the nation’s DNA were pushed to wall. “Today’s Delhi verdict is pronounced reminder of the harsh truth that nations destiny can’t be determined by whims and fantasies of one political thought, as it has to sail through collectively and in cohesion”, he said while lauding the political sagacity of Delhities for showing a way to the entire country how to correct a wrong course.
The Provincial President said the Delhi elections have sent a terse message to reactionary forces not to test the patience of those who believe in co-existence and spirit of togetherness. “Any attempt to deviate from the country’s glorious tradition is bound to recoil and that is what has happened in Delhi, which he described as microcosm of India”, he maintained.
Mr Rana said the Delhi polls have also unfolded the fact that hype or rhetoric cannot be a match to deliverance, as people want to see the promises made during elections are translated into reality on ground. “The message is loud and clear and those who tend to give a deaf ear to this reality are bound to suffer the way BJP finds itself decimated on Delhi’s political horizon”, headed.
