JAMMU : Legislators of Jammu based political parties including Bhartiya Janata Party, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party and Jammu State Morcha today staged walkout of the State Legislative Assembly over delimitation issue.
JSM MLA Ashwani Sharma and MLA Harsh Dev Singh raised the issue in the House asserting that the resolution and bill moved by them on Delimitation was not accepted.
Shouting slogans, the members created uproar in the House and said, “it was unfortunate that the Delimitation had been done in all the states of the country except the Jammu and Kashmir.”
Amid shouts and ruckus, the JKNPP MLAs supported by the JSM and BJP staged protest in the House and later staged walkout of the Assembly.
